London · Watches · By introduction

Everyone has a friend who knows a guy. Now you do.

Got a Guy makes personal introductions to London's most trusted watch dealers and sourcing specialists. Tell us what you're after — we put you in front of the one person who can actually get it.

How it works

Three steps. No listings, no algorithms, no strangers.

I

Tell us what you're after

The watch, the budget, the timeline. Two minutes on the form below — or just tell us "something interesting under £15k" and we'll take it from there.

II

We match you, privately

A short call to understand the details. Then we hand-pick your guy from a small circle of dealers and sourcers we know personally — the right one for that specific brief.

III

Deal direct

We introduce you over WhatsApp and step back. You deal with him directly, on his terms and his pricing — with our name on the line for the introduction.

The circle

Everyone here is known to us personally.

No anonymous sellers. No open marketplace. Every dealer and sourcer we introduce has been met in person, checked against their track record, and vouched for by people we trust. If we wouldn't buy from them ourselves, they're not in the circle.

  • Met face to face, in London, before any introduction is made
  • Verifiable trading history — years in the trade, not months
  • Referred by the community: dealers, collectors, previous buyers
  • Kept small on purpose. We'd rather say no than dilute it

Straight answers

We don't pretend to be the experts. We know who they are.

No stock, no margin

We don't hold inventory and we don't take a cut of the price. The deal is between you and your guy, on his terms — we're not in the transaction, so we have nothing to mark up.

Same fee, whichever guy

Our introduction fee is paid by the dealer, flat, and the same whichever member of the circle wins your business. We earn nothing extra by steering you anywhere but right.

We'll tell you not to buy

If the timing's wrong, the price is silly, or the watch isn't what you think it is, we'll say so. Sometimes the best introduction is the one we don't make.

Questions

The things people ask before they ask.

Is Got a Guy a watch dealer?

No. We don't sell watches, hold stock, or take a margin on the price. Got a Guy is a watch sourcing and introduction service: we personally match you with a vetted, independent London dealer or sourcing specialist, introduce you over WhatsApp, and step back. The deal is between you and them.

How much does watch sourcing through Got a Guy cost?

Nothing, for buyers. The dealer pays us a flat introduction fee that's the same whichever member of the circle wins your business — so we have no incentive to steer you anywhere but right.

What kind of watches can you help me find?

Anything from a first serious steel sports watch to vintage, dress pieces and allocation-level references. Most requests sit between £5,000 and £50,000, but the circle covers well beyond that in both directions.

Do you only work in London?

The circle of dealers is London-based and every one of them has been met face to face here. Buyers can be anywhere in the UK — introductions happen over WhatsApp, and your dealer will arrange viewing or delivery with you directly.

How is this different from buying on a watch marketplace?

Marketplaces give you thousands of anonymous listings and leave the trust problem to you. We do the opposite: a small circle of dealers we know personally, checked against their track record and vouched for by the community — and one hand-picked introduction for your specific brief.
